Weston in Gordano Parish Council, and we believe,
the whole village and community, wishes to pay tribute
to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II following
the very sad news yesterday evening of her death.
Queen Elizabeth was one of the most extraordinary
and successful world leaders known in history.
So exceptional in the way that she was able to
communicate at all levels, both being a powerful
influence for good on the world stage but also at a
local community and even family level. She was
inspirational in the way she was able to relate to and
inspire individuals and generations of children,
families and local communities, by her interest in
them, and devotion to service as Head of State,
Church of England and the Commonwealth.
Queen Elizabeth lead a life of selfless service, an
incredible woman. Thank you your Majesty,
on behalf of this community.
